Every year, Tacuna Systems proudly offers a scholarship opportunity for women pursuing a career in STEM. The details for our 2026 scholarship will be announced soon!

This program aims to increase the representation of women in technical fields by financially assisting with their education.

Our goal is to grant a $1000 scholarship award to a female student who is currently pursuing a higher education in science, technology, engineering, or math. The winner must be a qualified US student at a US or Canadian institution. (See Terms and Conditions.)

WOMEN IN STEM SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS

WHO CAN APPLY?

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be:

  • A female undergraduate or graduate student
  • Pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering or math
  • Attending a US or Canadian institution
  • 17 years of age or older

There is no GPA requirement for this scholarship. Instead, we would like to see any past or present work on a STEM-related project.

videoVIDEO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

As part of your application submission, we will require you to create a brief video of yourself showcasing your involvement in a STEM-related project. Limit this video to around 3 minutes in length. Things to consider while creating your video:

  • Aspirations – What are your general career aspirations and how has this project influenced them?
  • Passion – Why is this project important to you?
  • Learning – What did you take away from this project?
  • Application – How does this project relate to the real world?
  • Improvement – What changes, if any, would you make for better results?
  • Originality – Do you have valuable insight or ideas that industry leaders may not have thought about?
  • Representation – What are your general thoughts, related to the project or not, on improving women’s representation in STEM? How might you inspire others?

Driven by our shared commitment to promote inclusive representation in STEM fields, Tacuna Systems and ANYLOAD aim to empower women pursuing higher education in science and technology through financial assistance, fostering their increased participation in these industries.

Yes. Whether your project was done through a school, extracurricular activity, job, or entirely independently, we want to see what kind of projects spark your interest enough to pursue. Show us your creativity!

For 2026, we are requiring each applicant to submit a link to a video. It gives us a better picture of the applicant’s interests and passion for STEM. We use these only for selection purposes and will publish the winner’s video only with their permission.

In order to thoroughly review all applications, we will select and announce the winners approximately two months after the scholarship deadline. We will email the recipient directly and subsequently announce the name on the Tacuna Systems website and social media.

Note: Tacuna Systems reserves the right not to choose a winner if no applications received meet our award criteria.

Yes! See our scholarship recipients from previous years. All future scholarship winners appear on our website and social media pages with their permission.

If you are, or plan to be, enrolled in a US or Canadian college or university, then yes, you may apply, regardless of country of origin.

Due to the objectives of the scholarship, you must present as female to be considered.

Only one application per student per year. Previous winners can apply again the following year as long as their video submission differs from last year.

You must be enrolled or accepted and planning to be enrolled as a full-time student for the upcoming semester or quarter immediately following the reward distribution. We do require proof of enrollment if you are selected.

With the exception of the years during the COVID-19 Pandemic and the post-pandemic recovery years, we have offered this scholarship on an annual basis. Typically, applications are available in the winter, and their submission deadline is in May.
