Balance Scales

Balance scales and counting scales give fine-resolution readings for small parts, samples, and inventory. We carry precision balances and counting scales from ANYLOAD and AmCells, with easy-to-read displays and one-touch switching between pounds and kilograms.

Balance Scale Uses

Labs and quality control teams use precision balances to weigh samples and check part tolerances. Counting scales speed up inventory, kitting, and packing by counting units by weight instead of by hand.

Choosing a Balance or Counting Scale

  • Capacity and readability: choose a capacity above your heaviest item and a readability fine enough for your lightest. Finer readability usually comes with a lower capacity.
  • Counting accuracy: a counting scale divides the total weight by an average unit weight derived from a sample set. Larger samples and more uniform parts give more accurate counts.
  • Features: check each product page for printer or PC output, check-weighing limits, and platter size.
  • Calibration: precision balances can drift with temperature and location. Check them regularly with calibration weights.
