Weigh modules and mounts maintain a load cell’s proper position, keeping the load aligned with the measuring axis. This increases installation safety and measurement accuracy. Depending on the design, a module can also allow for thermal expansion, limit side movement and load shocks, and resist uplift from wind or vibration. These characteristics make them a common choice for tanks, silos, hoppers, and other large structures weighed in place.
