Bench Scales
Bench scales weigh items too heavy for a balance but too small for a floor scale. They are designed to sit on a workbench, table, or packing station. We carry ANYLOAD models in mild steel and stainless steel, with platforms from 30 × 30 cm to 60 × 60 cm.
Bench Scale Uses
Common applications include shipping and packing stations, food portioning and prep, parts and kit verification on production lines, check-weighing at receiving, and retail counters.
Choosing a Bench Scale
- Platform size: the model number gives the platform size in centimeters. For example, the TN4050 has a 40 × 50 cm platform. Choose one larger than your biggest item or tare vessel.
- Capacity: pick a capacity above your heaviest load, including any container or tare weight.
- Material: mild steel (TN) suits dry, general-purpose use. Stainless steel (TNS) resists corrosion in food processing and washdown areas.
- Indicator: check each product page to see whether the bench scale includes a display, or pair the scale with one of our load cell readouts.
For small parts and finer resolution, see our balance scales. For pallets, drums, and heavier loads, see our floor scales.
